REQUIREMENTS: Back Skills required Welders should be able to undertake the following tests Test pieces required Aluminium welding experience preferable Basic understanding of English Basic understanding of drawings Ability to set welding parameters on machine Reasonable mathematics experience Ability to measure accurately Desire to be successful in Australia Outside corner joint 5mm plate Butt weld on 3-10mm plate Down hand fillet welds 48-76mm diameter tube to 5mm or 10mm plate Show measuring ability using tape measure and steel rule 10mm plate - 100x100mm square approx (2 per welder) 5mm plate - 150x150mm approx (3 per welder) 48mm tube - 150mm long (2 per welder)
